13.5° Grape: 100% Montepulciano d’Abruzzo

From a vineyard at 300 mtl, 60 hl/hectare, very low yield, rich concentrated fruit. Very slow fermentation. Sold 3 years from harvest, needs 5 yrs. Aged in wood barrels, and then bottle. Good for ageing. A genuine Italian terroir, earthy with a geranium bouquet. A far cry from wines by the same name flooding the UK. Rehabilitates the name of this wine.
